The 17th US-China Green Energy Summit was successfully convened in Hengqin, Guangdong Province, on October 11–12, 2025. More than 300 distinguished experts, scholars, government officials, business leaders, and clean energy innovators gathered to explore the theme “Emerging Technologies Empower the Low-Carbon Transition.”

This high-level international Summit will focus on the newest technology breakthroughs, creative policies, innovative business models and smart investment for accelerating clean energy transition and decarbonizing our economy. It will also explore the practical pathways to foster the US-China collaboration on technology, policy and investment for achieving the global carbon net-zero goal. Featured Speakers from global climate leaders, Nobel laurates, billion-size clean-tech investors, government officials, business executives, thought leaders and more.

The 15th US-China Green Energy Forum will be held from December 13-14, 2023 at IEC International Standards Promotion Center (Nanjing) Area D Conference Center Qilin Hall. The forum is co-sponsored by the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering and US-China Green Energy Council.

This high‐level forum aims to share best practices for accelerating adoption of innovative policies and technologies to decarbonize APEC economies. California plays a leading role in advancing first‐of‐kind policies and regulations for decarbonization, clean energy transition, and implementing innovative technologies and best available solutions into practice. The 12th US Secretary of Energy and Nobel Laureate Steven Chu and the Chair of California Energy Commission David Hochschild will lead a group of distinguished speakers to present on this forum. It will facilitate open dialogue and knowledge exchange among delegates, business owners, and scholars from APEC economies on decarbonization strategies and how APEC regions can achieve an inclusive, equitable and resilient clean energy transition.

The US-China Green Energy Council (UCGEC) is delighted to announce that 2022 International Green Energy Summit (The 14th US-China Green Energy Summit) will be held on December 1-3, 2022 (US Pacific Time). This 3-day hybrid event includes online sessions and in-person meetings

The 13th US-China Green Energy Summit will be held online on January 4-5, 2022 (US Time). The theme of this year’s Summit will be “clean energy development on the path toward carbon neutrality”. We have invited world’s top energy experts to talk about the frontier technologies for clean energy development and discuss the challenges and opportunities on the path towards carbon neutrality.

The Summit will be held virtually on Zoom on Dec. 4th – 6th, 2020 (US time). It is free and open to all, but registration is required. The Summit will address how to achieve a sustainable recovery in the near term, as well as how to deal with challenges of climate change in the long run. Two Nobel Laureates have confirmed to deliver keynote speeches at the Summit.

In order to address the issue of climate change and achieve the sustainable development, a green energy revolution is taking place all around the world. Technology innovation is the fundamental driving force for the global energy transformation, and the international cooperation plays an important role for accelerating the technology innovation and industrialization. The 2019 International Clean Energy Summit will focus on key topics related to global energy innovation and international cooperation.
