Dr. Qi Wang is the Chairman and CEO of US-China Green Energy Council (UCGEC). Dr. Wang is dedicated to facilitating extensive exchanges and pragmatic cooperation on clean energy innovation and climate change between U.S. and China. He led the team to establish a wide range of partnerships with top universities, research institutes and enterprises across U.S. and China. He has successfully developed UCGEC to become a high influential platform for information exchange and cooperation on clean energy between US and China.
Dr. Wang has over 20 years experiences on clean technology R&D and commercialization. He was the CTO of a “Global Cleantech 100” company. Prior that, he worked as the technical leader in the advanced technology development division of a Fortune-500 company. Dr. Wang holds Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and he earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
