Dr. Qi Wang is the Board Director and Acting CEO of US-China Green Energy Council (UCGEC). He is responsible for strategic development and overall operation of UCGEC. He is also leading the Council’s new initiatives on technology innovation and key project development across U.S and China.
Dr. Qi Wang is also the CTO of a “Global Cleantech 100” company which focuses on climate change and air pollution control in China. This company has also been selected by US Department of State and the Chinese Government for joining “US-China EcoPartnerships” program which is the formal collaboration between U.S. and China under the U.S.-China Ten Year Framework on Energy and Environment Cooperation (TYF). In addition, Dr. Wang is also an Executive Board Director of the China High-tech Industrialization Association.
Dr. Qi Wang holds Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and he earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University in China, Dr. Wang has published multiple papers on peer-reviewed journals, and he has given invited talks on many international conferences. Dr. Wang had also served as co-chairs of organizing committee for the 3rd – 6th US-China Green Energy Annual Conference.
