Mr. Robert Wu, Founder and Chairman of US-China Green Energy Council (aka.,UCGEC), Founder of China's first generation of electronics and information technology, peacefully passed away at age of 88, at his residence in Los Altos, California on September 18th, 2020.
On October 28, 2019, Dr. Steven Chu, the Nobel Laureate in physics and former US energy secretary, led a delegation from UCGEC to visit the China Association of science and technology. Wan Gang, vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee and chairman of the China Association for science and technology, met with the visiting delegation at the China Science and technology hall.
UCGEC Delegation Visited Tsinghua University Institute of Climate Change and Sustainable Development
On October 28, 2019, Dr. Steven Chu, the Nobel Prize winner in physics and former US energy secretary, led a delegation of the UCGEC to visit the Institute of climate change and sustainable development of Tsinghua University. Xie Zhenhua, special representative for China's climate change affairs and President of the Institute of climate change and sustainable development of Tsinghua University, met with the delegation cordially.
On October 27-28, the 2019 International Clean Energy Conference was held in Beijing.
