Dr. Mike Tao Zhang is the Executive Vice President of US-China Green Energy Council. He dedicates himself to facilitating cleantech collaborations between the U.S. and China in the overall goal of achieving sustainability. Prior to that, Dr. Zhang worked for Spansion and Intel in various managerial/executive capacities and has assumed leadership roles in the organization of many international conferences. Dr. Zhang is currently the Co-Chair of an IEEE Technical Committee, and the recipient of some prestigious awards, including the Li Foundation Heritage Prize for Outstanding Achievement, the IIE Outstanding Young Industrial Engineer Business/Industry Award, and the IEEE Robotics and Automation Early Career Industry/Government Award.  He is listed in Marquis Who’s Who in the World and is invited to 2009 Asia 21 Young Leader Summit. Dr. Zhang received the M.S. and the Ph.D. degrees, as well as the Management of Technology certificate from the Haas School of Business and the College of Engineering, all at the University of California, Berkeley in record-breaking 3 years.
